When the refrigeration system is blocked by ice, the refrigerant cannot circulate, causing the temperature in the cold room to rise, and the cooler unit will automatically defrost. After the cooler unit is clean, the refrigeration system resumes cooling.

The ice blockage of the thermal expansion valve generally occurs at the throttle hole of the expansion valve. The fault feature is: the refrigeration system starts to operate normally, but after a period of time, the evaporator begins to defrost. After the defrosting process is over, the evaporator returns to the cooling state, and the defrosting phenomenon occurs again after a period of time.

The solution to the problem of ice blockage in the thermal expansion valve is: for the thermal expansion valve slightly blocked by ice, a hot towel can be applied to the ice block of the thermal expansion valve, the ice block can be removed, and the operation of the refrigeration system can be restored; if the degree of ice blockage is relatively high If it is serious and the normal operation of the refrigeration system cannot be restored, close the stop valves at both ends of the drier filter, remove the drier filter from the refrigeration system, and after replacing the desiccant in the drier filter, first open the inlet of the drier filter. The shut-off valve, loosen the shut-off valve at the liquid outlet, and then tighten the shut-off valve at the liquid outlet of the drier filter after the gas escapes, so as to eliminate the failure phenomenon and restore the normal operation of the refrigeration system.
